Memory Mic is $499 CAD per event, all-inclusive. This guide covers what that includes, what other quotes often add, and how to judge value.
What $499 CAD includes
The booth, backdrop and stanchions. Delivery, setup and takedown in person. The booth running for the whole event with unlimited messages. Travel anywhere in Ontario. A private gallery of every message as its own video, online for three months and yours to download and keep. No hourly rate, message cap, editing fee or travel surcharge.
What other quotes often add
Video guestbook pricing in the GTA varies widely, mostly due to a few line items: hourly rates, travel fees beyond a set radius, attendant fees, editing or highlight-reel fees, and delivery fees for a USB or gallery. Total them before comparing quotes.
How to judge value
How is sound captured? A professional microphone produces videos you can hear over a reception; a camera alone often does not. How are messages delivered? Separate downloadable videos are worth more than one edited reel. Who sets it up? A vendor-assembled booth differs from a kit left at the door. Are messages or length limited? They should not be.
Video guestbook vs photo booth pricing
In the GTA, the two are usually priced similarly. A photo booth gives guests prints to take home; a video guestbook gives you the messages. Many couples book both. If choosing one, decide by whose keepsake matters more.
